The Raleigh Uke Jam meets on the first and third Thursday of every month from 7 until 9 p.m. in the Estill House at the Church of the Nativity, 8849 Ray Road in North Raleigh.
All levels of Ukulele players are welcome, from beginners to experienced. And all sizes and styles of Ukuleles are welcome. We are all-acoustic (except for the U-Bass guy), so our ukes could easily be drowned out by other instruments. So please no guitars or banjos or mandolins, etc. It’s a ukulele jam, remember?
Check our schedule for updates!
If you would like to get notices whenever we update our schedule, want to sign up for our email list, or have other questions, contact raleighukejam@gmail.com !

Some of our songs include kazoo breaks, so bring one if you have it. And one of our frequent attendees plays some great harmonica parts. Both of these combine beautifully with that special and joyful sound of the Ukulele.
To save trees, we maintain our music book online via Dropbox and urge players who have tablets to download the songs and bring your tablets to the jams. Email us and we’ll send a link to the Dropbox folder! If you don’t have a tablet that’s okay. We have a couple of loaners and a few old school paper notebooks with all the songs included. Also bring a music stand if you have one.
There is no charge to attend but we do collect a love offering for the church, purely voluntary. So just bring your ukulele and be ready to sing and play!
We host Open Mic Nights at the church during those months with five Thursdays on the fifth Thursday. Anyone is welcome to bring a song or two to perform before the most supportive audience in the ukulele universe, or join the audience to appreciate the magic.

The location is in Northwest Raleigh, close to I-540 and near the corner of Ray Road and Strickland Road. The church that is visible from Ray Road is the First Korean Baptist Church. Look for the white and blue sign by the driveway. Turn down the driveway next to the Korean Baptist church, continue about 100 yards to the Church of the Nativity facility. See the map below.)
